Membership

Membership of the club is open to the whole community either as full playing members or as social members who do not wish to bowl outside on the green but wish to use the facilities and take part in shortmat bowling.

New members are very welcome, and you don’t have to be a member to experience the sport of  bowls. If you’ve never played and would like to try, contact our club Secretary on 07716676383, or email via our contact page to arrange a time to visit and try the game out. You don’t need any equipment, just bring flat-soled shoes or trainers. We will provide the bowls and some coaching to get you started. 

To join the Club you will need to complete a short application form. 

Full membership entitles you to play at all times that the green is open and in any league team, if selected. Social membership allows you to use all the Club’s facilities and the indoor short mats from September to April. Playing on the green has certain restrictions. Certain club fixtures are made available to all and these are decided by the management committee, more information can be found in the constitution.

New Members 1st year                            50% reduction - £38.50

Non-playing (Social) Member                            £24.00

Junior Member                                          20% of full membership - £15.40
(Under 18 in full time education)

Subscription is due on 1 March each year.

Anyone joining after the 1 July pays half the subscription.
